Oh my Cheesebread Recipe
Most of the time we do not consume flour. But if we do, we make sure it´s good bread like this..
▢ – 375 g Flour
▢ – 1 pack Active Dry Yeast (7 grams)
▢ – 1 tsp. Salt
▢ – 1 tsp. Sugar
▢ – 250 ml Warm water
▢ – 150 g Cheese/Cheddar shredded
▢ – 50 g Cheese/Cheddar shredded
▢ – also some raw egg, or milk or mayonnaise for brushing the bread if you dont have eggs or milk around.
Procedure for Oh my cheese bread recipe
Knead everything except 50g of shredded cheese and brushing material together.
Divide the dough into 9 fairly equal pieces If you´re having difficulty with applied math, it´s easier to estimate 9 equal parts by dividing the whole lump of dough to 3, then each third of the piece again into 3s. They should be about the size of eggs or golf balls. Try not to worry about the size of the bread as this is a dough that expands a lot in size.
Lay them on a baking sheet, cover with a piece of cloth, and leave in a warm place for 30 mins to an hour. If you don´t have a warm place at home, just preheat the oven for a minute or two, don´t forget to TURN it OFF, and there you have a warm place for your bread to rise! Give yourself a break. Do something else if you fancy, and if you still don´t have an idea what you want to do with the 30 mins waiting time you might want to bake a cheesecake along with the batch of bread we are doing for dessert. I also took the time to make my ranch salad dressing and marinade the Asian Style Roast Chicken I’m going to shove in the oven too in a while after the pasties and bread batch!!! Talk about energy savings!
After 30 mins or an hour, bake the batch in a preheated oven to 200 degrees C and bake for 25-30 mins till golden brown on top. If you fancy the cheesecake recipe (which ill leave for 20 mins more after taking out the bread) being baked below the rack of bread, feel free to check here.
Enjoy! The taste best if still warm.
